Wetmore - Tobermory
Max Depth 25 ft
On November 29, 1901, the steamer Wetmore towing barges Brunette and James King run aground in bad weather. Only barge Brunette was later salvaged, but both the Wetmore and J. King ended up on a bottom not too far from one another. Wetmore is am excellent site for beginnger divers as well as snorkellers. There is lots to see including massive anchor, boilers, massive chain, broken propeller and a large rudder.
